Paris is not a cheap city to stay in. Especially if you want to book a hotel room at short notice, prices can rise significantly. Moreover, in most hotels in Paris, you’ll find very small hotel rooms. So, it’s a challenge to book a good hotel in Paris at a reasonable price.

We’ve made a selection of good hotels in Paris in various price ranges.

Hotel Molitor in Paris

Our experience with Hotel Molitor in Paris The most unique hotel in Paris is Hotel Molitor. With two 25-meter swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor.

In our blog, we tell more about our experience with Hotel Molitor.

The Ampère Hotel

The Ampère Hotel

Modern, yet atmospheric hotel, very conveniently located. Noticeably spacious rooms. Good air conditioning and soundproof rooms. Nice breakfast! The hotel for anyone who wants to go to Paris and loves comfort. Especially the garden rooms (with a view of the garden) are very popular and are even better appreciated.

Also good to know: there is a charging point for electric cars and private parking (quite tight). There are family rooms for families with young children. The price strongly depends on the period, but you should expect about 150 to 175 euros per night for a double room.

CitizenM Paris Gare de Lyon Modern hotel in Paris with good breakfast

Within walking distance (just over 1 km), you’ll find Notre Dame.

At the bar, you can choose from numerous beers, cocktails, or just a delicious fresh coffee. There is a restaurant, and especially the breakfast receives high ratings from the guests. The rooms are not very spacious but bright and modern. Everything is very practically furnished. You can always go to the public areas, which are very nicely and comfortably furnished. Here too, you’ll find many colors and a cozy yet modern design. This hotel also costs around 150 euros per night.

Sleeping at the Hilton in Paris, 3 options in different price ranges! Hilton hotel near Paris airport

Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle

For a really good price, spacious rooms, and comfort, you can choose the Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle. Fantastic for plane spotters too, as you sleep at Paris airport, and with a bit of luck, you’ll see planes landing from your room. Fortunately, the rooms are soundproof 😉 Another advantage of this hotel: there is a nice indoor pool. Truly a luxury in Paris. Downside… you’ll need to travel for about an hour if you want to go to the city center of Paris. Fortunately, you can do this via the very nearby RER station. You’ll find the Eiffel Tower about 30 km away. You can book a room from 114,- per night.

Modern Hilton hotel in Paris

Slightly more expensive but still very affordable (for Paris) is Hilton Paris la Defense. A hypermodern hotel (futuristic design) in the middle of a business district but with very good connections to all attractions in Paris. You’ll find the Eiffel Tower 6.5 km away and the Arc de Triomphe just 4 km away. The rooms look neat and very comfortable. It’s really a business hotel, but it’s also great for tourists. You can book a hotel room from 138,- per night.

Chic hotel in Paris

If you want to stay at a classic Hilton hotel in the Opera district, you can choose Hilton Paris Opera. This is by far the most expensive Hilton hotel in Paris. For lovers of luxury and a real ‘princess style’!

Tip for booking a room at one of the Hilton hotels in Paris: choose flexible dates when searching. You’ll see how big the price differences are. Maybe a week earlier or later is much more advantageous!

Ibis Budget Hotel Paris Porte De Montmartre Good cheap hotel in Paris

Ibis Budget Hotel Paris Porte De Montmartre

A very affordable hotel near Porte de Saint-Ouen metro station in Paris. Also, the football stadium Stade de France is quite close by (4 km). You can book a hotel room in this budget hotel for as little as 44,- per night! Other guests mention that the hotel is very clean.

It’s a cheap hotel, so somewhat simple but complete and neat. The rooms are small. You may have noise if you open the window. It’s good to know that there are also family rooms in this budget hotel. The beds are placed as a kind of bunk bed construction (but with a double bed).

The hall and breakfast room are also quite basic, but for this price, this hotel is a very good choice. The breakfast room can be a bit crowded and busy at certain times. Of course, you can also choose to have breakfast outside the hotel.

Note, this hotel is very popular due to its price. So, you usually have to book in advance.

Hotel & Spa La Belle Juliette Boutique hotel in Paris with wellness

Hotel & Spa La Belle Juliette Boutique hotel

For lovers of wellness and atmosphere! Because this boutique hotel south of Paris is colorful, playful, warm, and yet very tasteful. Not in the middle of the center, but in a neighborhood where you mainly meet the residents themselves and are not overrun by tourists.

In the spa, you’ll find an intimate pool with massage jets and a Turkish steam bath. Don’t expect a large spa here in this hotel in Paris, but this is wonderful and very nice to relax here after or before a day in Paris. Various treatments are also possible, such as reflexology or a beauty treatment.

There is also a lot of attention for breakfast, and on warm days, you can have breakfast outside in the garden. You’ll find a metro station 300 meters away. The price is about 200 euros per night.

Mercure Hotel Paris 17 Batignolles Affordable hotel in Paris

Mercure Hotel Paris 17 Batignolles

Still reasonably affordable (around 100 euros per night for a hotel room), clean, and well furnished. This affordable hotel in Paris even has 4 stars and receives high ratings (although we sometimes see a point of criticism, the management responds immediately, and we see many more positive responses).

The hotel rooms are reasonably spacious by Parisian standards, nicely and practically furnished. It is a great hotel as a base for all kinds of trips in Paris. You’ll find a metro station 600 meters away. There is a terrace at the hotel where you can sit outside and enjoy a snack or drink. With a view over the Parisian rooftops.
