East of Paris, there’s a charming campground perfect for those flying into the area and renting a car. You can rent a mobile home or a luxurious glamping tent at this campground. If you’re arriving with a caravan, camper, or your own tent, you can also reserve a spot here.
It’s a laid-back setting, especially enjoyable when the weather’s nice—you can also take advantage of the swimming pool or other enjoyable amenities.
This campground is conveniently situated near Paris with direct access to the city center.
Planning a trip to Paris? Leave your car at the campground near your mobile home, caravan, or tent, because right by the campground, you’ll find the train station. From this station (Faremoutiers – Pommeuse), take train line P. This train will whisk you directly to Gare de l’Est station in Paris in just 56 minutes. From there, you can leisurely explore on foot or easily continue your journey by metro (lines 4, 5, or 7).
When returning from Paris, make sure to catch the train from Gare de l’Est heading towards Coulommiers. Alight two stops before your destination (see the stops on train line P). A one-way ticket costs €5 per person (2023).
One thing to note is that the train to and from the campground often runs only once an hour, so be sure not to miss it!

Taking the Direct Train (RER) from Your Hotel to Paris
The train to Paris doesn’t cost much. From the 5th zone (hotels listed above), you pay $5 per person per one-way trip (as of June 2023). Children under 4 travel for free. Children under 10 travel at half price.
The trains in and around Paris are spacious and comfortable.

All the hotels mentioned above, close to a station, have a direct connection to Paris. From there, you can explore attractions on foot or continue your journey by metro. A single metro ticket costs $2.10. If you’re in Paris for a few days, a Navigo Easy Pass is more cost-effective and convenient.
Instead of individual tickets, you can also opt for a Paris Visite Pass. With this, you have unlimited travel in the five zones, including the region outside Paris. Especially if you plan to use the train/metro frequently, this can be a good option. It’s certainly convenient. Gare du Nord Train and Metro Station
From here, you can transfer to metro lines 4 or 5. You can also walk to Montmartre within 15 minutes, where you’ll find many attractions like the Sacré-Coeur, the Love Wall, the vineyard, Place du Tertre (restaurants and painters), and more. Châtelet – Les Halles Train Station
This is a convenient train station in the heart of Paris. Here, you can walk directly to Les Halles metro station and transfer to metro line 4. Alternatively, you can get off here and explore many attractions on foot. These include:

- Rue de Rivoli (Main shopping street)
- The famous and charming Marais district
