Hop on Hop off Paris: How it works!
Until a few years ago, there were more lines, but now it’s reduced to just a few. The double-decker buses all come equipped with informative multilingual audio guides and WiFi.
If your French isn’t great and you want to buy tickets for the red or blue line, no problem! All you need to do is show your smartphone ticket, which you can purchase online in advance from a reliable Dutch ticket service. It’s not more expensive than buying in Paris. Below, we’ll tell you where you can buy tickets (red or blue line).
With hop-on-hop-off, you can hop on and off wherever you like. There are about 10 stops per line.
The blue line consists of red-white-blue buses (Tootbus). The red line consists of dark red buses (Big Bus). See the photo at the bottom of the page.
With the hop-on-hop-off bus in Paris, you can easily enjoy the city. You can hop on and off wherever you like on this line. Along the way, you can take beautiful photos.

Buying Hop on Hop off Tickets for Paris
You can order bus tickets online in the Netherlands in advance. Or you can buy them spontaneously when you’re already in Paris. It’s all possible!

Sights on the Hop On Hop Off bus Paris > Blue Line
With the red-white-blue bus, you’ll pass by the Opéra, the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Musée d’Orsay, the Concorde, the Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Grand Palais, and much more. If you don’t get off and stay on the entire route, the bus ride takes about 2 hours.

With the dark red Big Bus on the red route, you’ll pass by the Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars, Opéra Garnier, Louvre-Pyramide / Big Bus Information Center, Louvre-Pont des Arts, Notre Dame, Musée d’Orsay, Champs-Elysées, Grand Palais, and Trocadéro. The total route takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
